What we collect
- Account data - your email address. You sign in with a link we email you, so we store no password.
- Usage data - the content you create in the app and server logs (requests, timestamps, IP addresses) kept for security and debugging.
- Billing data - handled by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers; we store only your Stripe customer id and subscription status.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't use third-party ad or tracking networks.
Cookies
We use only functional cookies: your session (staying logged in) and CSRF protection. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Analytics
We measure traffic to our public pages with a self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) that runs on our own servers. It gives us aggregate numbers - page counts, referring sites, browser type, and country - not profiles of individual people. It sets no cookies, it does not follow you to other sites, and the data never leaves our infrastructure or reaches a third party. Event pages, the organizer console, and the venue TV board are not measured.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Stripe (payments) and Amazon Web Services (hosting and email). Each receives only what it needs for its function.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Email support@getdinkboard.com to request deletion of your account and its data; backups age out on a rolling schedule afterwards.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the date above and note it in the app.
